DOIT in an online webinar about "Children are makers"
DOIT's coordinator Sandra Schön (Salzburg Research) and DOIT's advisory board member Kristin Narr did a common webinar for the German initiative "Gutes Aufwachsen mit Medien". Their talk (in German) from June, 14th, is available online and under an open license (CC BY 4.0).
Making for kids in September 2018 in Austria
DOIT partner ZSI (Centre for Social Innovation) and the Elternverein Gröbming will organize makerdays for kids (8 to 12) from the 3rd to 6th of September in Gröbming, Styria.
The students will identify issues that are related to water and will commonly find, draft and create solutions for these issues.

Local kindergarten @ Salzburg Research
On May 15, Salzburg Research received a visit from children from a kindergarten nearby. 13 kids got an insight into the work of DOIT!

14-year old Sacha as inspiration at DOIT's project meeting
At DOIT’s project meeting we had also a visit of 14-year-old Sacha from 7th grade at the Billund School. Sacha was visiting to answer questions about the things that motivate her and what demotivate her. The visit should highlight some of the challenges that students can face today in the form of teaching.
